Dear All,
Professor Yuping Chien International Foundation is a non-profit
charity organization established in USA. It is the first
private foundation which gets fund by Chinese oversea
scholars and will contribute to the improvement of public
health in China. The major purpose of the foundation is
to support Chinese Epidemiology education, research, and
international recognition under the name of Professor
Yuping Chien. In addition, the foundation will support
research and management of geriatric diseases, especially
geriatric psychiatric disorders, which is prevalent, but
not well understood.
At this moment, Headquarter of the foundation locates
at Orlando, Florida, USA. We'll also have branches in
Beijing, China, in Melbourne, Australia and also in Vienna
Austria .
The Foundation will be governed by a “Board of Trustees”
and an “Executive Team”. The Foundation's
Board of Trustees is composed of leaders in science, business,
and fundraising. Their expertise helps to build our path
ahead, assess our impact, and guide our pursuit of improved
public health. The Executive Team will be responsible
for operational aspect of the foundation, including raising
fund, prioritizing projects to support, and generating
annual financial reports to all members.
